Come join our creative collective that meets every second Saturday. If you are a little artsy? Or you just like art. It doesn't matter if you have never been creative—come anyway. It has been proven that participating in the arts in any form will rewire your brain to help you become less stressed as well as healthier and happier. This is an informal gathering for a few hours on a Saturday where folks can work on any sort of "artsy" project they'd like. Some months there will be a theme, which will be explained in the "Chat" for this group. BYO supplies (or use some of the church's supply). You may also bring a snack for yourself or anything to share. Supervised children are welcome. We will meet in the Chapel or Teen Room (leader will post a note if it's down in the Teen Room). If you're ready to get into a flow state while connecting with others, this Artsy Group is for you! RSVP
The Meditation Room downstairs is open each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for anyone who would like a quiet place to find peace and grounding before the service begins. When a leader is available, we’ll hold twenty minutes of Centering Prayer beginning at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
On Sundays after the livestream, we’ll meet online for 20-25 minutes. Google Meet Link: https://commonthreadchurch.org/meet

We meet the third Sunday of every month. For one hour, we will gather and talk about how our awareness of our type has grown and how we have been able to make different decisions as a result of our pausing.

At Out! Raleigh, while thousands of people gather to celebrate inclusion and joy, protestors often gather to condemn and shame. Instead of matching their noise, we plan to show up with quiet strength—offering love, dignity, and grounded presence. We’ll meet at the corner of East Edenton and Wilmington Streets (by the Capitol) and walk together to wherever the protestors are. Sue will be there and hopes you will join her to stand in the truth that love wins. Every time. More info about Out! Raleigh Pride →
Join us in the Chapel from 3:30-5pm on June 27th as we explore the power of presence and movement together at CTC's first ever Sacred Dance. Through the use of breath, curated music, and individualized movement, we’ll utilize the container of the community to help support each individual’s own journey of self-exploration and self-guidance. Your dance will be your own moving meditation – igniting the direct mind-body-spirit connection and allowing your body and your inner guide to be your own teacher. No experience or training required, just come as you are. Reach out to Melissa with any questions.
We are collecting men’s jeans to bless guests of HOPE Ministries. Please bring donations to church June 28-July 12. There will be a collection box in the church lobby. To donate financially, give here → Learn more about HOPE Ministries →
