The teens will go to Bowlero (5501 Commercial Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612) on September 22 for a Fall team building event! The cost is $21/person (CTC pays at registration; parents reimburse via registration link) We’ll eat a light lunch together at Snack & Chat at 11:30am in the Chapel (send extra money with your teen if they will want snacks at Bowlero) Carpool drivers needed! Join Robin Camu and Allison Brown as they unpack the wisdom of the Enneagram, a tool for spiritual growth and shadow work. You will come away with not only an understanding of the Enneagram, but also the opportunity to form and strengthen spiritual bonds with others in our community. The cost is $175 and coffee, snacks, and a pizza lunch are included. You will be prompted to pay via debit/credit here after you register. Please talk to Robin about scholarship options. Please note that this seminar is only offered in-person; no virtual option is available. Robin has a Masters Degree in Counseling, is a retired LPC and is certified to teach the enneagram from the Narrative Tradition. Allison has a BA in Psychology, a certification in Spiritual Formation and Direction and is a certified Master Jungian Life Coach. Register
We form Life Story groups twice a year that will meet as many times as there are people in the group (usually 3-4) for about 2 hours at a time. Please complete this form by 10/6 if you would like to participate this fall. We agree not to share even bits and pieces of others’ stories with people who are not in the group. Even without names. Even without identifying details. Even with our intimate partners. That’s how hurtful gossip can happen. Non-judgement. This is trickier because we’re talking about what happens in your heart. One way to avoid the appearance of judgment is to avoid asking questions or making comments. Just listen through to the end then thank the speaker for their story. But you’re not on your own with any feelings and thoughts that might come up after listening! The skill of being a member of a community requires practice and support. Join us monthly for practice, supportive conversation, and teaching meant for anyone interested in starting, deepening, or maintaining a regular meditation practice. If have been meditating daily for years and would like the support of others on a similar journey please consider attending. Also, perhaps you have always wanted to be able to meditate consistently but have run into barriers with starting or maintaining a consistent practice. All are welcome as we connect around deepening our practice of centering prayer and other forms of siting meditation. Childcare provided.

We are all creators. “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” —Pablo Picasso Painting can be a restorative exercise that guides you to added relaxation and peace of mind. Intuitive painting is an approach that helps to explore the inner self. This work includes a meditative process of self-exploration. It may serve as a place where we can play, color, and lose ourselves in the process. Supplies Needed: One set of watercolor paints (can be a cheap set from Target or Michaels) Two brushes: one wide and one medium (wider than what comes with paint sets) Corrugated cardboard (like Amazon packages): at least 12" x 14” One set of the following: colored pencils, crayons, or colored markers, etc. A rag Register
