    When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired.     Who we are and why you should join us: A safe, welcoming group for anyone struggling with addiction or dependency, and for those who love someone who is. We gather to share honestly about what we're walking through, whether it's recovery or everyday life, and support one another with grace and love. Sharing is always optional, and both what is shared and who attends remain anonymous and confidential. Where we meet: Meditation Room When we meet: Weekly on the 2nd-5th Sundays from 11:45am-12:45pm

    The Meditation Room downstairs is open each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for anyone who would like a quiet place to find peace and grounding before the service begins. When a leader is available, we’ll hold twenty minutes of Centering Prayer beginning at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.

    We meet the third Sunday of every month. For one hour, we will gather and talk about how our awareness of our type has grown and how we have been able to make different decisions as a result of our pausing.
