    NC United Power for Action invites you to a nonpartisan public forum with candidates for US Senate to discuss our priorities of affordable housing, healthcare, public education, immigration, workers' rights and the proposed cap on county property taxes. Join us on Sunday, October 18 at Wake Chapel Church, 3805 Tarheel Club Rd., Raleigh 27604. Seating opens at 4:30 p.m. Action runs from 5-6:30 p.m. RSVP at this link.

    The Meditation Room downstairs is open each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for anyone who would like a quiet place to find peace and grounding before the service begins. When a leader is available, we’ll hold twenty minutes of Centering Prayer beginning at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.

    Join us for a relaxed Fall Picnic at the Museum of Art immediately following Sunday service. We’ll gather on the lawn to enjoy lunch together, take in the crisp autumn air, and spend time in fellowship. Kids are welcome! Please bring: Your lunch or any food you'd like to share A blanket and/or lawn chairs Sunglasses Jacket Optional: If you have a high-quality Bluetooth speaker, we'd love to play some music as well. We look forward to spending time together and enjoying a beautiful fall day!
