    When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired.     Raleigh Garden Club Plant Sale
    The Ridge

    Hours Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Raleigh Garden Club will have sun plants, shade plants, native plants, hostas, houseplants, pollinators and a variety of other plants available for sale. They get their plants from a variety of garden centers and personal gardeners so the list of plants is ever changing. They will be providing garden consultations and a Master Gardener will be present to answer questions. In addition, they have invited the Makus Takus food truck to be at The Ridge on Saturday from 11:00-2:00.

  • Earth Day Park Clean-Up

    Peach Road Park

    Join us for a meaningful day of service and connection as we clean up litter in honor of Earth Day! We’ll give back to our community by starting at the Peach Road Cultural Center. Please complete this registration form with the City of Raleigh to participate. What to Bring: Old clothes, shoes, and gloves Bug spray Sunscreen Water and a snack Trash grabber sticks (if you have them) Trash bags will be provided. Come ready to serve, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors. Kids are welcome!
