Formerly called Club Day, find out what’s going on at Common Thread this fall so you can join in and work the circle. Attend in person or participate online by watching the regular Sunday livestream. We'll have a brunch afterward where you can mingle and ask questions. The church will provide coffee and tea. After registering, you will be prompted to sign up to bring something (juices, baked goods, a hot casserole, fruit) if you can. Register for Brunch

Fiction & Fellowship is a book discussion designed to promote community and connection at CTC through a shared love of reading for pleasure. Join us in person (Conference Room #205) or virtually via Zoom (link and password provided in the registration confirmation email). No need to commit to each discussion—come whenever you can! We form Life Story groups twice a year that will meet as many times as there are people in the group (usually 3-4) for about 2 hours at a time. We will form groups in person on 9/14. If you will not be at church that day but still want to participate, please complete this form by 9/14. We agree not to share even bits and pieces of others’ stories with people who are not in the group. Even without names. Even without identifying details. Even with our intimate partners. That’s how hurtful gossip can happen. Non-judgement. This is trickier because we’re talking about what happens in your heart. One way to avoid the appearance of judgment is to avoid asking questions or making comments. Just listen through to the end then thank the speaker for their story.
