  • Kids’ Winter Workshop

    Kids’ Classroom

    Help us spread Christmas cheer with the CTC kids during our annual Winter Workshop! Kids will have the chance during church time to shop for their loved ones and bring home wrapped presents to put under the tree. Please help by bringing small, unwrapped gift items to donate. We have a wish list of items here.     Join us monthly for practice, supportive conversation, and teaching meant for anyone interested in starting, deepening, or maintaining a regular meditation practice. If have been meditating daily for years and would like the support of others on a similar journey please consider attending. Also, perhaps you have always wanted to be able to meditate consistently but have run into barriers with starting or maintaining a consistent practice. All are welcome as we connect around deepening our practice of centering prayer and other forms of siting meditation. Childcare provided.

  • Christmas Party for Adults

    Morgan and Jeff Herr will open their home up to the entire adult church community for a potluck Christmas party! Drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish or a dessert to share. For those who'd like to play White Elephant, please bring a small gift (~$5) and arrive by 7 p.m. to participate. In addition, if you're able to, please bring a Visa gift card in any amount, which will help provide meals to refugee families through Welcome House.     Bunco is a fun, social dice game that is easy to learn and so much fun to play. We need 12-16 players. All adults are welcome.     We are all creators. “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” —Pablo Picasso Painting can be a restorative exercise that guides you to added relaxation and peace of mind. Intuitive painting is an approach that helps to explore the inner self. This work includes a meditative process of self-exploration. It may serve as a place where we can play, color, and lose ourselves in the process. Supplies Needed: One set of watercolor paints (can be a cheap set from Target or Michaels) Two brushes: one wide and one medium (wider than what comes with paint sets) Corrugated cardboard (like Amazon packages): at least 12" x 14” One set of the following: colored pencils, crayons, or colored markers, etc. A rag Register
