Observe the Board onsite or on Zoom at their quarterly meetings. Open to anyone in the directory. Quarterly Open Board meetings take place in the conference room (#205) are an opportunity for anyone currently in the directory to observe the happenings of the Board. In lieu of a formal petition process the Board Chair will ensure time is reserved on the agenda for topics brought forth by observers in attendance. When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired. We meet the third Sunday of every month. For one hour, we will gather and talk about how our awareness of our type has grown and how we have been able to make different decisions as a result of our pausing.
