Come join our creative collective that meets every second Saturday. If you are a little artsy? Or you just like art. It doesn't matter if you have never been creative—come anyway. It has been proven that participating in the arts in any form will rewire your brain to help you become less stressed as well as healthier and happier. This is an informal gathering for a few hours on a Saturday where folks can work on any sort of "artsy" project they'd like. But there will be a theme each month in case you would like to participate. The theme will be explained on the sign up page in notes prior to the weekend. BYO supplies There will be a suggested list in the notes. (although we can find plenty of markers etc. at the church) You may also bring a snack for yourself or anything to share. Supervised children are welcome. We will meet in the Teen Room unless there are too many that have signed up. It will be posted on the entry door if this is the case. When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired. Join hundreds of leaders from ONE Wake institutions across the county for our 2025 Annual Meeting. During this important event ONE Wake leaders will ratify a Strategic Plan and Budget for 2025, along with a Strategy Team slate. The Annual Meeting will also serve to coordinate our action agenda for the year. Your voice is needed! All ONE Wake institutions are asked to send 5-10 Core Team leaders, as well as any members who are interested in learning more about ONE Wake's work. Please register in advance. All who register will receive a draft copy of the Strategic Plan and Budget proposal, as well as the proposed 2025 Strategy Team slate, at least one month in advance of the meeting. Register
