When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired. Join us on zoom for the kick-off meeting for our new The Artist's Way group, following the book by Julia Cameron. Bring your book or workbook and read the first 24 pages to get us all on the same page. The focus of this first session is planning: we will decide how often and how we structure our meetings as we embark on this journey of creative recovery, which centers around writing.
