Come join our creative collective! If you are a little artsy? Or you just like art. It doesn't matter if you have never been creative—come anyway. It has been proven that participating in the arts in any form will rewire your brain to help you become less stressed as well as healthier and happier. This is an informal gathering for a few hours on a Saturday where folks can work on any sort of "artsy" project they'd like. BYO supplies and a snack for yourself if you'd like. Let's join The Ridge in partnering again with Welcome House Raleigh, to provide a Thanksgiving *meal to 100+ refugee families on our church campus. Help needed with set-up, clean-up, sides and desserts, kids' games/crafts, as well as greeters and general help. This is a kid-friendly event and any help is welcome, even if you can only come for part of the event. General Schedule: Set-up from 12:00-1:30 Guests arrive around 1:30 (greet and host) Eat together from 2:30-3:30 Clean-up from 3:30-4:00ish *Meal included for all volunteers. Register
Help us spread Christmas cheer with the CTC kids during our annual Winter Workshop! Kids will have the chance during church time to shop for their loved ones and bring home wrapped presents to put under the tree. Please help by bringing small, unwrapped gift items to donate. We have a wish list of items here.
