Join us to celebrate the back-to-school season! We will hang out after church in the Fellowship Hall to make ice cream sundaes and spend time together before the school year starts. Kids can pick up a back-to-school goody bag as well! Register
We will be participating in a food drive for Urban Ministries in Renaissance Park two Saturdays in September. On the first Saturday (9/6), we will drop off paper bags to be filled by residents. On the following Saturday (9/13), we will return to pick up the food-filled bags to donate. Please join us for either or both of these days. You can also donate food in the CTC church lobby from 8/31 to 9/14. Formerly called Club Day, find out what’s going on at Common Thread this fall so you can join in and work the circle. Attend in person or participate online by watching the regular Sunday livestream. We'll have a brunch afterward where you can mingle and ask questions. The church will provide coffee and tea. Discover the endless creative fun of collage in this free hands-on class led by enthusiast Dawn Ronco. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced artist, you’ll arrange interesting papers and other fodder into small works of art with your unique style. All materials and supplies included. Bring a sharp pair of scissors, a black pen, and a sharp pencil. Supervised children are welcome. Please pre-register so we can plan the space and supplies. Register

Come join our creative collective! If you are a little artsy? Or you just like art. It doesn't matter if you have never been creative—come anyway. It has been proven that participating in the arts in any form will rewire your brain to help you become less stressed as well as healthier and happier. This is an informal gathering for a few hours on a Saturday where folks can work on any sort of "artsy" project they'd like. BYO supplies and a snack for yourself if you'd like. Supervised children are welcome. If you're ready to get into a flow state while connecting with others, this Artsy Group Meet-Up is for you! Register
Let's join The Ridge in partnering again with Welcome House Raleigh, to provide a Thanksgiving *meal to 100+ refugee families on our church campus. Help needed with set-up, clean-up, sides and desserts, kids' games/crafts, as well as greeters and general help. This is a kid-friendly event and any help is welcome, even if you can only come for part of the event. General Schedule: Set-up from 12:00-1:30 Guests arrive around 1:30 (greet and host) Eat together from 2:30-3:30 Clean-up from 3:30-4:00ish *Meal included for all volunteers. Register
Help us spread Christmas cheer with the CTC kids during our annual Winter Workshop! Kids will have the chance during church time to shop for their loved ones and bring home wrapped presents to put under the tree. Please help by bringing small, unwrapped gift items to donate.
