Sunday Service
10:00 a.m.

In Jesus’s time, Jews under Roman rule had to continually compete for social standing by elevating themselves and putting each other down. Sound familiar? At the core of who we are, we feel that we are not precious. As long as we feel this way, we will be competing with one another. This competition requires much mental and emotional energy that could be redirected to healing and loving. By asking us to wash one another’s feet, Jesus invites us away from competition and to a place of internal fulfillment and worthiness.

Have a listen,

Doug
