Room 209We meet the third Sunday of every month. For one hour, we will gather and talk about how our awareness of our type has grown and how we have been able to make different decisions as a result of our pausing.

After the service, stick around for fellowship, light refreshments, and easy conversation. It’s a wonderful chance to connect more deeply with our church family — and newcomers are invited to chat with our pastor, Sue, if you’d like to learn more about CTC or explore ways to get involved. Feel free to bring goodies or leftovers to share! All are welcome — grab a cup of coffee and join the conversation!

When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired. Once a year, we make space to listen — really listen — to one another. This gathering is a chance to share what’s stirring in you as we look toward the year ahead: your hopes, your longings, your questions, and the quiet dreams you may not have said out loud yet. There’s no pressure to perform, persuade, or solve anything. We simply come as we are, trusting that when we listen with care and curiosity, something wise begins to emerge between us. Whether you’re full of ideas or just feeling your way forward, your voice belongs here.

This is a joint event with Ridge Road. We need 40 volunteers on 2/23 to pack meals for the non-profit Rise Against Hunger. This is a kid-friendly event. Help transform the chapel into a packaging space to put together hundreds of meal kits for those in need. While there is no fee for this event, if you'd like to make a donation to our "Events" fund, please do so here → Learn more about Rise Against Hunger → Register
