Trauma Support Group Formation

We’re creating a soft, confidential space for those carrying trauma—recent or long-held—to gently begin the work of naming, sharing, and releasing. This is not therapy, and no one will try to fix, save, or correct. Instead, we’ll unpack our stories slowly, kindly—honoring each story as it’s told, just as it was experienced.

Led by the Rev. Heather Olson, who as a Veteran’s Administration chaplain has been trained and grounded in VA trauma support models, this pilot program will include nervous system regulating and contemplative practices. The group will follow a loose arc over six sessions, living into values that support healing and well-being. There’s room for gut-led facilitation, poetry, and silence too.

If you’ve been carrying something for a long time, or just need to be witnessed in a safe and sacred circle, you are welcome here.

Pilot starting the week of June 22 with six sessions over the summer. Flexible scheduling (in-person and remote) based on group availability. Please respond below with your preferences.
