This is the first of a two-part lesson on resolving conflict.

I (Doug) spend a lot of time helping people through conflict, and have learned through the years what a valuable, and spiritual thing it is…  when we do it well.  I have also found that there are a lot of people who don’t know how to do it well.

So this summer, I’m training several people to master the art of conflict resolution. These two lectures are the first step in a training process. Go ahead and have a listen. However, the art of resolving conflict is just that – an art.  It takes more than a lecture to master it.

Step two in the process is several Wednesday evenings of training. The group will practice the technique together; I’ll coach, correct, mentor, and cajole, until they are really good at it.  By summer’s end, we’ll have a group of people skilled in the art of resolving conflict, and ready to help you through the learning process.

Have a listen to this lesson and the next one.  (Below are some resources that go with this one.) After you’ve listened to both lessons, click HERE if you’d like someone to help you through the process.
