Housing affordability in Wake County has reached a crisis level. This crisis is not inevitable—it is the result of political choices, and it can be addressed with political will. But that will only emerge if our leaders see that the public is organized, engaged, and demanding action.
This gathering will begin as an internal ONE Wake assembly, where members will ratify proposals and plans for the 2026 organizing cycle. During the second hour, we will transition into a public Accountability Assembly with Raleigh elected officials.
