When we observe ourselves feeling and reacting from unsettling emotions like anger, sadness, and fear, the self awareness practice helps us investigate so we can release stories and patterns that no longer serve our wellbeing and so we can embrace ourselves and others with more compassion and grace. If you want to learn more about the self awareness practice, please drop in and observe 2 members of the Common Thread Community do this practice together. No prior knowledge or experience is required and everyone is invited and welcome. We will meet in Room 209. Feel free to bring your lunch/snack if desired. Join CTC Thursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8 for this year's Self-Awareness Retreat at Well of Mercy. The deadline to register is October 5th. Retreat Overview & Services This is a retreat in the stillness of the woods and river – offering a balance of structured group activities and time for solitude with a focus on self-awareness and contemplative practices. Optional activities include opportunities for breath work, meditation, walking the prayer path or labyrinth, sitting on a hammock, reading, and ample built-in time to rest and listen for the still, quiet inner voice. For an additional fee, you can also book a Healing Touch, a massage, or Spiritual Direction session with Well of Mercy staff. Before signing up, please make sure you can accommodate these windows and that you are available to be present and free from work responsibilities during the retreat.
